We are the U.S. Navy’s first line to acquire the right communication and technology tools to deliver affordable, integrated and interoperable information warfare capabilities to the fleet.

 

PEO C4I is headquartered at NAVWAR’s Old Town Campus in San Diego and includes eleven program offices responsible for acquiring fielding and supporting C4I systems extending across Navy, joint, and coalition platforms. This includes the management of acquisition programs and projects that cover all C4I disciplines.

PEO C4I Celebrates 20th Anniversary

Program Executive Office Command, Control, Communications, Computers and Intelligence (PEO C4I) is celebrating its 20th anniversary Oct. 11, serving as the Navy's first line to acquire the right communication and technology tools to deliver affordable, integrated, and interoperable information warfare capabilities to the fleet.

PEO C4I Streamlines Afloat Capability Delivery with DevOps Model

The event, hosted by the San Diego Chapter of the National Defense Industrial Association, took place Oct. 24 and 25. This concept of operations aims to improve delivery speed and quality of Consolidated Afloat Networks and Enterprise Services (CANES), the Navy’s next generation tactical afloat network, to the Fleet. DevOps brings together people, technology and processes that streamline the end-to-end flow from code development to capability delivery. DevOps will improve rapid response to Fleet needs, whether responding to a system modification or addressing the latest cyber threat.

Navy C4I and Space Systems Change Hands

The Program Executive Office Command, Control, Communications, Computers and Intelligence (PEO C4I) and PEO Space Systems (PEO SS) held a change of command Feb. 24. Rear Adm. Carl Chebi relieved Rear Adm. Christian “Boris” Becker during a ceremony held on Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command’s (SPAWAR) Old Town Complex. Becker assumed PEO C4I and PEO Space Systems in July 2013; he will assume command of Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command (SPAWAR) from Rear Adm. Dave Lewis at the end of March.
